CHASE FACILE® INSULFAB® Cover Film
Highly flame retardant, ultra-light weight barrier films for aircraft insulation. These highly specified structures provide protection in aircraft and marine vessels for thermal and acoustic insulation and also contribute to improved flammability and vapor barrier properties.
By way of example, our INSULFAB® 332 was purpose built as a vapor barrier, but must serve as mechanical protection and meet new FAA mandated flame resistance in use. A new flame retardant system was developed that met global environmental standards and enabled the product to become the benchmark cover film of the thermal acoustic insulation industry.
